SARNIES is a TV sitcom written by Elijah Young currently in development commissioned by the BBC through production company Candle & Bell.

The series follows the lives of the people who work in a sandwich shop in Newcastle’s Bigg Market. Sarnie server veteran Sharon has a dream to be one day be the manager of her own Sarnies franchise and an 18 year old soon-to-be father, Christopher, is her new trainee. Through nightshifts and lunch rushes, the two form an unlikely friendship on their journey to finding their purpose in this greasy corner of the toon.
