THE COLD BUFFET
“We’re family, we don't have to like eachother.”
Making an appearance at family get-togethers is the only time Ellis can muster the strength to visit home. When it begins to become tradition at these occasions for true feelings to be unearthed, is it time for Ellis to cut ties?
This three-act play in 2023 was the centrepiece production for Live Theatre’s 50th Anniversary during Elijah’s time as an Associate Artist.
Directed by Jack McNamara, design by Alison Ashton and sound design by Adam P McCready.
Cast: Nick Blakely, Amara Khan, Jim Kitson, Jane Holman and Beth Fletcher-Morris.

“4**** 'The action was plenty, the storylines were vast and the relationships were magnanimous of the car crash proportions.... what more could you want? Elijah Young certainly knows how to bring Northern drama to the stage.”
